To help pupils - through proper exercise experience and understanding of health and safety, and by considering physical and mental aspects in an integrated manner — develop basic qualities and the abilities to participate in enjoyable physical activity throughout their lives, maintain and improve their health and fitness and cultivate an appropriate attitude towards leading a pleasant and happy life.

Art

To enable children, by means of activities involving expression and appreciation, to savor the joy of creating while bringing their sensitivity into play. Home Economics

Home Economics help students to develop a basic knowledge of clothing, food, and housing. The areas that we focus at the elementary level are Daily Consumption and Environment, Comfortable Clothing and Housing, Daily Meals and Basics in Cooking and Family and Family Life.

Moral Education

The aim of Katoh Gakuen Gyoshu Elementary School is to develop children who are strong creative individuals for the 21st century. Within the immersion program our mission is to nurture students to become active, wise, and caring shapers in our multilingual and multicultural world.

Computer

Students are taught to use a variety of computer program applications to increase their computer proficiency. There is a focus on word processing, computer networking, computer management, internet usage, internet safety and digital creativity. Students undertake multiple computer projects throughout the year which will help to prepare them for the digital future.
